Welcome to BELLE Phase 2
April 1st marked the start of BELLE Phase 2, a six-month extension to the project that will support partner activities until the end of September, 2002. Congratulations to all for your contributions to the project over the past two years!

BELLE Annual Planning Meeting To Be Held This Friday
On April 12, BELLE's Annual Planning meeting will take place at the UBC campus in Vancouver. Any partners who have not yet booked for this event should contact Brenda Redgwell at redgwell@netera.ca.

New Communications and Training Assistant
No, Lisa has not been fired. Nor has she left Netera… as of April 12, she’ll be away for 6-8 months on maternity leave. Netera and BELLE are pleased to welcome Deborah Kaloudis to the team. Deborah will assume the role of Communications and Training for the BELLE Project until the end of the extension on September 30, 2002. ALOHA Keeps Getting Better and Better
Partners who are using the ALOHA indexing tool to enter objects into the repository should be aware that changes and updates are regularly being implemented. Often, a newer version of the tool will make older versions obsolete. New versions are posted on the ALOHA website and are available for download. Please bookmark the following site and check for updates: http://aloha.netera.ca.
