BELLE to Demonstrate at E-Learning Conference
CANARIE kicks off its two day E-Learning Conference on Monday, February 25 with several presentations from the 14 projects currently supported by the Learning Program. Douglas MacLeod's demonstration of BELLE will take place on the Monday, featuring a three-way video conferencing and examples from the BELLE repository. Stephen Bosch will present on the technical components of the project on February 26.
Pilot Project Update
Some highlights of recent partner activities that can now be viewed in the BELLE repository include a series of video and text files surrounding a summit series entitled "War and Peace in the Mountains" submitted by the Banff Centre and the Banff Mountain Film Festival, and the first student work - an animated short - from the Vancouver Film School. Claims Claim Sanity of Bookkeepers Everywhere
As many are aware, there have been some recent and unexpected changes to the claim procedures with BELLE that have required a reassessment of past claims. Before anyone decides to throw themselves (or the CLE) off a roof, Netera would like to assure you that we are working to make the adjustments as smooth as possible. Insofar as we can clarify financial processes in the future, BELLE and CANARIE will develop a recommendations document to explain and simplify the process for partners.
